Chaz HendersonHi I'm Charles "Chaz" Henderson, I began Web Matchers in 2005 almost by accident. I was in the process of adopting a dog, my Jack Russell Terrier, Joey whose pictures are below. I was spending hours online researching different dog breeds, their temperament, care instructions, etc. and finally decided on a Jack Russell. After I found a breeder that I liked (also online) and brought Joey home, I decided to let the websites I'd used for research know that they had helped me. While I was at it, I sent over a link to the breeder I had used. A bunch of the sites I used for research decided to add the link to the breeder, who in turn spotted these links and asked them about it. They told her my email and before I knew it I had my first client! My philosophy is this, most web advertising is ugly, obnoxious and irritating. I want no part of that. But what I do want to do is help websites add resources to their sites. In my opinion, a dog site about Jack Russell terriers should link out to a place where you can actually get a Jack Russell Terrier. It makes sense to me and I hope it makes sense to you too! We won't ever ask anyone to add links to their site for anything that is not relevant and makes no sense on that site. We take a lot of pride and consider what we do building partnerships and neighborhoods. While most people are trying to fill the web with garbage to make a quick buck, I've got a great team of people working with me who will keep the good sites together - and we can't wait to talk to you :) Bio: Charles Henderson graduated from University of Bridgeport with a BA in Literature and Civilization with a concentration in Philosophy. After college, Chaz spent several years working as a restaurant busser, waiter and eventually manager in the Greater Rochester area. He tried his hand in corporate America, but after 6 years of finicky copy machines and very professional looking ties, it was time to get out. After moving to Binghamton with his wife (Kathy) and daughter (Madison) he became a stay at home dad and started working on the great American novel he'd always wanted to write. Still only halfway through chapter 2, Chaz is happy to have found a line of work that is equally rewarding and allows him to telecommute most days so he can continue to spend time with his family. In his free time Chaz loves basketball, skiing and dreams of making it to Chapter 3 some day.
